Who we are

This website, captivateconsultants.ae, is operated by Captivate Consultants F.Z.E., Ajman Free Zone, United Arab Emirates (“Captivate”, “we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy at mb@captivateconsultants.ae.

Information we collect

We only collect the information you choose to send us through the forms on this website:

• Contact form: name, email address, company, mobile number (optional) and your message.
• Robotics enquiry: name, company, job title, email address, phone number, country, portfolio and property details, area of interest and your message.
• F&B Operations Health Check: name, email address, company, mobile number (optional), your answers and the resulting score.
• Website assistant: the questions you type into the chat assistant.

We also receive standard technical data when you visit (such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed) in our server logs and, if you accept cookies, through Google Analytics.

Figures entered into our online calculators are processed in your browser to produce a result. We do not receive or store the numbers you enter.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you request.
• To prepare and follow up on proposals and engagements.
• To answer your questions through the website assistant.
• To maintain, secure and improve the website.

Form submissions are sent to us by email. We do not keep them in a website database.

Legal basis

We process personal data to respond to your request and take steps before entering into a contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and promoting our consultancy, and, for analytics cookies, on the basis of your consent.

Service providers

We do not sell personal data. We use the following providers to run this website, under appropriate safeguards:

• IONOS: website hosting (data centre in Germany).
• Resend: delivery of form notification emails to us.
• Anthropic: the AI service that answers questions in the website assistant. Your chat messages are sent to it to generate a reply.
• Google: Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, only if you accept cookies.
• Microsoft: our business email.

Some of these providers process data outside the United Arab Emirates.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed for the website to work. With your permission, we also use Google Analytics cookies to understand how the website is used. Until you accept, Google is told not to store analytics or advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this website’s cookies in your browser.

Data retention

We keep enquiry emails and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting engagement, and afterwards only as long as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and the UK and EU GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to receive a copy of your data. To exercise these rights, email mb@captivateconsultants.ae. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
